ALTER Translation Services includes a team of several editors, project managers, hundreds of translators, and DTP artists. Here we will only introduce the principals.

Executive Team

Jorge Arteaga, M.D.
President and CEO

Dr. Arteaga, a medical doctor graduated from Venezuela's Central University, has over 15 years of experience in the areas of medical/marketing translations/consulting. He also has several years of international and domestic experience serving the corporate world. Besides his private medical practice from 1992 to 2004, he worked as a medical translator providing very specialized feedback regarding medical terminology and critical issues --technical details concerning drugs, diseases, etc.-- for a variety of pharmaceutical companies. As president and CEO of ALTER he not only oversees the whole processing of medical documents, but also looks at them with a critical eye in order to provide his clients with the technical support that will help them improve/review their originals.

Ramon Brady
Head of Canada Operations and Supervisor for Engineering

Mr. Brady is a perfectly bilingual Mechanical Engineer specialized in Robotics and Automation. Before assuming his position at ALTER Translations he successfully managed tasks like Production/Maintenance Supervisor/Thin Film and R&D Specialist at Vadeko-Agra Security Technologies; R&D specialist for Vadeko-Agra in Mississauga, Ontario; Thin Film Production Specialist and Vacuum Technology Consultant for the Bank of Canada. His background has been a great asset to our company, and has helped him oversee the operations of technical translations and language consulting in Canada, Venezuela and the USA. Part of his work has also involved scheduling and analyzing new projects to establish the required expertise, subject knowledge and technical resources needed to undertake the work.
